Chand Baori, Abhaneri, Rajasthan

Chand Baori is a step well built in 8th century by King Chand of Abhaneri. It is about 65 feet deep, has about 3500 narrow steps with 13 landings to the water! (only 5 visible here) Very interesting place to see, although the restoration work looks quite ugly.

The caretaker claimed that a few scenes of Paheli were shot here.

And this is one of the locations of The Fall.
