Modern Woman 2
*This photo has 2 versions
Equality, feminism, or just taking on the role of both genders? Alleviating of responsibilities or emasculating?
I have to type quite mindfully as I can already sense feminists in pajama pants boiling like a forgotten pot on the stove.
I feel that feminism has been taken too far. There are biological differences between both genders that should not be overlooked. These are the same differences that constitute the "It's a guy thing/I'm sorry! I'm a guy!" excuse when caught doing something inappropriate.
Equality is great in the workplace, but is it detrimental in a heterosexual relationship? Can it be truly fulfilling when both partners are essentially two unisex creatures? Does it satisfy their primitive desires (protecting/providing for men, nurturing instincts in women).
I grew up in 2 different cultures, about a decade spent in each. First decade spent in Europe, the latter spent in North America. Feminism TO ME, seems to has seemed to affected both regions quite differently.
To satisfy a North American male, (based on guy friends/past boyfriends opinions) you must be a man with boobs.
Play xBox
Have an extensive knowledge of video games and computers
Always make the first move
When rejected/unwanted be persistent until the male gives in
Cook for them
Buy their groceries
Carry heavy purchases
Carry generally heavy items
Repair any damages around the house
Pick up after them
Clean for them
Pick up the cheque
Oh,and don't forget to smile when you do it!
The modern North American woman seems to have to do it all, so I suppose I can't really judge them for constantly wearing pajama pants to Wal-Mart.
European men, however are more likely to ask you out for a drink, or generally make the first move; to help you lift your luggage into the overhead luggage compartment of an airplane, smile and walk away not expecting anything; To help you carry your heavy groceries; to notice that the bathtub is clogged and fix it; to put together wonderfully cheap Scandinavian furniture.
They are doing "manly" things, which in turn perhaps makes the woman want to return the favour and be more feminine. I'm talking about delicious steaks, frequent blowjobs, clean house to fuck you in, initiating outdoor sex, slutty lingerie and dirty talk.
Sounds like a fulfilling relationship to me :)
