Mr Shiny Master Cadillackness
My good freind Chuck, in back of where he works . He restores rare and antique cars with his boss Blair. They are artists for shure. Chuck is an exceptional artist , but would deny this all the way , he is also a very humble man. Dont let the hair fool you. Chucks medium is broad , but his arts are dying arts . hotrod kounter kulture , type of art . Pinstiping , airbrushing , poster and t-shirt painting . He would fit right in with the greats like Ed Roth or Von Duch . I wish that he would understand that he is indeed keeping the art allive . He wouldnt know what to do with recognition or praise , but he deserves it in spades. Check out his work at his site. I think that it is KrazyFlake.com . The site can be tough to navigate , but you'll see a sample of his gear headed art awesomeness.
SB900 camera right , bare +1 ev, sb900 between cars zoomed on chucks head , bare +1.5 ev, another one camera right but further into frame bare , Sb900 on ground , bare , at cadillac front end to bring it in with lift jack.

Legend
On August 24th , God stole the best dog in the world from me , he was stricken with fucking cancer. Hard and fast. I am as sad as I have ever been. His name was Lemmy...he was a legend.... SB900 at the sides , about table level, bare at 1/64th power on left and 1/32 on right , fired with another sb900 in master mode.

Boston Calling
My son Zach and his band The Navidson Record , playing in providence a couple weeks ago. I got a chance to sneak some speedlights around the stage. I had only about 45 seconds and got 3 pocket wizards on 3 sb900's, and a 4th firing off the other 3, one on each side of stage behind monitors , one center stage, and one out back at the drummer. The bouncer let me in with a bag o' shit , checked in it , said"awe man , it's really only flashes?" , as I walked away I said to him"yeah, but what's in the flashes?" All the sb900's were set at 1/2 power and I shot manual to adjust to shots , as once the show started I could not change settings on light.

Sunrise ,Mt Washington
So we started up the auto road at 4 a.m. , that road is kind of nerve bending, even with perfect line of sight, damn near horrifying in the black of night, it feels like you are driving in space. Your headlights go out forever into nothingness. When we got to summit we were in the middle of the clouds and it was nasty, we had to go down the mountain to get just under the cloud ceiling in order to be able to see the sun coming up . I got a bunch more that I will surely procrastinate running through post. Look closely at lower left of frame and you can see one of the more mellow corners of the auto road.
