Wow, this picture has gotten way more attention and great responses than i could ever imagine. i’m truly so happy!! I believe, each and every one of us has scars. Whether they are physical scars, or emotional scars, i believe we need to embrace them. To me, scars are a sign of victory; you went though a battle, but you won. Some people want to hide their scars, hide what they’ve been through. Everyone is beautiful and unique. You don't have to be flawless to be beautiful. You don't have have a perfect life to be beautiful. "Imperfection is beauty" as Marilyn Monroe said. So don't hide your scars, embrace them. Stand strong. Keep your head up. Every scar you have makes you who you are, and you are beautiful.

Scars
Yes we all have scars.
That’s what you have to show,
That you have been there.
Traveling the roads of life.
Through obstacles and hurdles.
Fall and get hurt,
stand up and brush off the dirt.
The father you go,
the further you learn.
Dealing with the pain of healing.
Coping with the scars.
Some are obvious and visible
Some are tucked away inside
Some are in disguise
Never the less they are there
Even if you do not know
where to show,
One thing you do know:
You’ve been traveling
The roads of life.
In order to get there
“you’ve been there”
You know .
You have the scars to show.
They are almost earned
Through the lessons you have learned
Teaching you how to decide
How to be wise
What is where
And how to get there
