On this shot, I was practicing on luminance. I'm somewhat short on time as my computer is really laggy due to a full hard drive and a tired motherboard.

Not sure if I plan on keeping this or not. It seemed a lot cooler standing.here, fearing for my life.

Can't recall the name of the road right now, it's Scenic or some such name, being one of the roads that heads into the Paradise Drive area, where West Benders can go do their Sunday driving without having to go very far. Very hilly, and have tried to bottom out my car once or twice when I was young and stupid.

As per my usual, here is something from my trip down to West Bend last Saturday. I've had to do some tweaking to help offset the harsh light and the severe shades. I was thinking about boosting the exposure on the right so I'd love feedback to see if anyone agrees or if the point of selective highlights is to help the eye travel up the image. Also boosted some of the orange tint to give the leaves a redder tinge.

I feel that I haven't been on as much as I should, just got caught up with life - I'm sure you all have been there before.

This is a usual stop for me, and was pleased to be traveling with my eldest son, The only tweak on this photo was a boost to the brightness. I really like the lines of this image. Also am really pleased that I was on a photo assignment in my home town. Oober bonus!

I received a wonderful email notice about my olde WheretogoWisconsin.com site, which I haven't done much on since the photography bug. I created a Wheretogo Flickr site, and you can really tell the difference in the quality of images. Maybe it's time that it gets a proper housecleaning!
