Thanks!
Apocaplops (65 months ago | reply)
These hurt my eyes in a good way, it's definitely the colors, but the softness too.
Kat White (65 months ago | reply)
Hurts your eyes cuz it's so dark? :)

Gorgeous....would love to be able to see each separately!
Kat White (65 months ago | reply)
I'll look at uploading them when I have a spare moment :)

So nice! I like them as a set, myself.

Seen next to a fellow photo of Polaroid SX 70. (?)
Kat White (65 months ago | reply)
They didn't look that spectacular on their own. The first image had a big gap, that's why I thought they'd work well together. Honest I'm not hiding anything good! ^_^

Kat White (64 months ago | reply)
Deborah your camera is extremely similiar to mine, you'll love your SX-70 I promise! This is no tripod and manual setting. Easy to get a great DOF! And thanks so much for your comments! :)
sandidaniel (64 months ago | reply)

Kat White (64 months ago | reply)
sandidaniel thanks so much. I definately plan to! I just need to save a bit more money to stock up on some more film :)

challenger 1
i'd seen these pictures in your collection before, and i absolutely loved them. they work great as a pair.
brendadada (63 months ago | reply)
Tough one. They are soooo different. If the challenger's was just one of the photos, instead of a composite, the choice would be harder. But defender's crazy Hindi style painting, or whatever it is, with its motion blur/double exposure effect, or whatever it is, gets my vote. :)

the intensity of the composite really grabs me
the very nice.

the challengers photos are the type of work I really like....simple compositions, minimalism, monotones.....but it just isn't quite there. The lighting is too dark for me, and it takes a way the impact of the shot.

Challenger 3
This one is so moody, dark, beautiful and most importantly, in focus. I know the out-of-focus thing can imply movement, but whatever, this is my opinion right? I like things in focus, it shows deliberate attention to detail.

I, too, like the tones and mood of this/these polaroid(s).. and uhmm, yeah, I'm not a fan of accidental blur (and the blur in the defender's polaroid doesn't look intentional to me)..

This is just a beautiful photo, plain and simple. to me that is more difficult to achieve than taking a photo of something that jumps right out at you. this photo is subtle and is sucks you in the longer you look at it. well done!

Congratulations!!! This image has been accepted into the pool of Polaroid Instant 100 ~ Flickr's Best Instant Photos. Its position in the pool is open to challenge.

I saw this one again and thought for perhaps the hundreth time, "God, that is amazing" and it is. Just thought you should know. Again. Still love it, wanna have it.
Kat White (61 months ago | reply)
~KIM~, you're way too kind... Honest you've made my day by telling me that. Thankyou :)

Stunning! Love that DOF and the colours. I'm jealous you didn't need a tripod for this; I have such a junky shake.
NB: I'm not an actual junky, just blessed with crappy shaky hands that frustrate me no end!
Kat White (60 months ago | reply)
haha yes I was lucky with this one. I took a shot tonight which I'm gonna upload tomorrow with my 101 that is blurry cuz I didn't stay still. So think it was luck for this one!
Cheers for the comments :)

That is so pretty. I love the colour and the soft focus. It looks so fairytale...I imagine little frog princes and whimsical faeries
