Lemon Jelly Cross Stitch challenge 1

Inspired by Threadymade's tiny cross stitch album covers I had this mad idea to do actual sized proper ones. Why? I don't know. I just thought it would be fun. What I am going to do with it now? I don't know!

This one is from Lemon Jelly's album "Lemonjelly.ky". I designed the cover into a cross stitch chart myself without any assistance from any pixelating software!

The larger photo I took shows the cross stitching better: check it out, it's the next photo in my photostream!

(p.s. I blog about crafty things at www.mylatestobsession.org.uk)

Very funky and good that you made the pattern yourself. The colour match is very good...

This is so cool and such a great job and its even cooler when you charted it all yourself!

Fabulous effect! Did you scan and print dierctly on the canvas, or did you print on transfer paper first? I have done this with a scenery photo - but I didnt have a digital camera back in '03 so I have nothing to show for it. Keep up the great work, and greetings from Florida,
      V.

This is great! Pillow? Frame it and hang it? So many good options....

Thanks for the comments! Sorry for not replying until now. I didn't scan it - I used graph paper and drew it straight onto the chart, then coloured it in. I did actually cut out some of the shapes in different sizes to be able to place them around and move them till I got the right layout.
