Jokulsarlon

Jokulsarlon by cortomaltese.

This is a morenic lagoon situated along the southern coast of Iceland. It has been dug by Breidamerkurjokul (a tongue of the huge glacier Vatnajokull) from whose front icebergs detach and float in the lagoon, slowly melting until they get little enough to pass through a rather little passage that leads to the open sea.
I'm not wearing a venusian garment: it's a motorbike jacket ;-)

My favorite adventurer!

It's a rule for me to do a self portrait if I'm ever in a place where I am astounded by beauty. I usually have a similar grin, too. 8 )
