Found in an antique shop in Utrecht, the Netherlands. I was convinced this was a girl but on the back is written Armand de Backere. So, is this a long-haired boy in a kind of dress for boys? The picture was taken by photographer J. Tobie, 9 Rue Haute, Anvers (Antwerp).

Absolutely amazing postcard that I bought from asebuynow on eBay. There is something incredibly cinematic to this picture. On the back is written in pencil: Happy Mother's Day to my little girl.

Found in a special postcard shop in Utrecht, the Netherlands. Picture made by A. Greiner, Amsterdam (royal court photographer, Lange Nieuwendijk 89). Picture can date from no earlier than 1883. In pencil on back: Betsy de Loman v Rusgen (? hard to make out).
