      Nice tute on the blog- I like the accuracy of paper but I hate sewing through it and picking the bits out later, I am guessing without the paper it would not be accurate enough

      If you use the right type of paper, you won't need to pick little bits out. I find that the paper used in mutual funds' annual reports and stock portfolios is perfect for paper piecing. It's sturdy enough to feed through an inkjet printer and light enough to peel off easily after sewn. For paper piecing, I use 20 stitches per inch.
