Saturday Hike
Took Dexter out to the mountains today. He had a good time and burned off a lot of pent up energy. I did as well, it was very relaxing being out there with my dog.
Things have been a little stressful for me lately and pretty busy. I haven't had much time for my boys, let alone for taking photos. But it was good to relax on a hike, I really miss it.
Hope everyone and their furry kids have a wonderful Saturday!

If you look very closely, you can see the Las Vegas Strip on the horizon.

High Flyin' Dexis Maximus
Dexter can easily jump two feet from a complete stand still if he gets excited enough. May not sounds like much, but he is only 11 inches tall to begin with. I love my little athlete.

A World of Difference
Look who isn't camera shy anymore! Look at those cute curly whiskers.
I'm proud to say that Betty is now a normal dog. It took almost a year but she has made tremendous progress. She now responds to the commands sit, touch, lie down, and we're working on stay. She actually walks on lead now! Sure, she takes her time when something spooks her but it's manageable. Betty also seems extremely happy, playing with the other dogs and begging for attention. Thank you for teaching me how to work with a withdrawn dog, Betty!

Wolf in Sheep Clothing
Dexter chomping on his rope toy... in a strange position. haha.
He starts agility classes again very soon. It's about time. I've just been so short on time, and mostly money. But within the next two months he should be back in action. I'm sure he will appreciate it. He goes crazy when his mind isn't being stimulated, and sometimes walks and trick training just don't cut it. I just feel bad because he was supposed to be competing in both Agility and Obedience before 2012. But this will be out year, I'm sure of it.
