This is the M.F. Kings River as it runs through Tehipite Valley in Kings Canyon National Park. Tehipite Valley is pretty remote and requires a substantial hike to reach, including a long steep drop and climb back out. But you'll be rewarded with gorgeous views and a wild experience. Lots of black bears and rattlesnakes. Pizza can only be delivered via helicopter.
Shot with a Canon Elan 7 loaded with Fuji Velvia 50 film through a Canon 17-40mm lens and B+W 80b warming filter. I'm pretty sure I used a circular polarizer too, but it's been a few years back so I can't recall... maybe I used a 2-stop soft GND filter instead.
