Back To School?!

    This is my first post to this group!

    For this assignment, I decided to use my 105mm macro lens at f/8. The shot was done outside to use natural lighting. I'm not sure how well this captures the sense of "back to school", but I hope that it will suffice.

      Great bright colours. Nice shot. I like that you only shot the ends of the pencils, it makes it interesting and different. Good idea

      Welcome to the group! Was this shot with the Nikkor 105? I tried a Sigma macro and was not pleased so I returned it, so I guess I am back in the market for a macro. Anyways, love the colors here

      Yes, my macro lens is the Nikkor 105mm macro f/2.8 and I LOVE it. It is also wonderful for portraits.

      Great colors! Good idea. I shoot almost entirely with my 100mm macro lens. It's just become my style. I love it.
