As mentioned in my previous post here, I had a great time in Disney last November. I loved waking up early, grabbing a coffee and enjoying a little wildlife photography outside our hotel room. What a treat it was to watch this Great Blue Heron is it waited for it's breakfast to swim by.

During our family vacation to Disney (Orlando) I had many early morning opportunities to photograph the wildlife outside our hotel room. After getting several nice shots of this Great Blue Heron, I shot this one as it took off. I always find it amazing how prehistoric these birds can look....

YIKES! The single male occupant of this car was lucky to escape the crash without serious injuries. One of the police officers on scene said to me "if he was driving an SUV, he definitely would have been killed"

I had a fun time shooting pics at the Toronto Polar Bear Club's dip today. Hundreds of folks took a dip in the frigid waters of Lake Ontario in an effort to raise money for Habitat For Humanity. You can learn more about this annual event here... www.torontopolarbear.com/
