Franco's Tomb

Franco's Tomb

By far the wierdest , creepiest place I've ever visited. Built by Franco as a war memorial, after he died he was buried here next to his buddy, the fascist instigator of the coup turned civil war. Monks still say mass over the old dictator's tomb every day. Franco gave them enough money to pay for 1000 years of mass. He may have been a butcher and a fascist, but the church was paid. The one thing they respect, after all, is money. Besides, he did build them that 500' high cross.

The Aqueduct

The Aqueduct

Aparently the largest, most intact outside of Italy, despite two millenia of wars in the region
