I am poppies in the field's photostream

I love being able to sit down beside this pool after a days hike or shopping or something and cool off my feet.

But I'm always secretly a little scared some terrible pond creature will attack my feet. I feel like a child when I think about this, but it doesn't help. But I guess I don't really mind; it's just one of those little things :)

I love shoes and pirates. Thus, combining the two is a natural progression!

I want to be a shoe pirate in real life. I think it would be awesome; a slightly more well heeled Jack Sparrow :-D

Well, this is me. Awake for about half an hour, no coffee has magically appeared as of yet, and I woke up with one of my eyes *literally* glued together by one of the false eyelashes I wore out last night. So, this is me, in all glory... washed out, my "night before" make up (except the lipstick, I am a bit addicted to it; I use it instead of lip balm these days :-/), my beautiful camera and daylight (damn daylight that woke me up). Et voila.

So anyhow, I got up this afternoon and decided I was going to start a 365. As you do. I have been pondering this for a little while now, but it took me wanting to avoid doing everything else to get me to actually set up another flickr account for it.

So; welcome. I'm Lily, also on here as Mossling and dotting around the internet in various places. This photo may make it look like I have no idea what I'm doing, but IT LIES (I have exhibited all over and my photos are in various books and stuff). But that isn't what this account is for. This is for me; self portraits, little things that are special to me, curious things I find that could never go in my portfolio but I love anyway etc. My 365. Should be fun :)
