This month has been full of very busy days.
My sister is still staying with us.
Her depression is getting better, but she still does not want to go home.
This is fine, as she is as welcome as the flowers in spring by all of us.
Got my final paycheck from work, so I went shopping and spoiled myself:
4 scarves, 4 pattern tops, 4 rings, 2 necklaces.
This is the last time I can spoil myself until I go back to work again.

Saturday

There's curry soup in bowls to eat,
And new wool socks are on my feet.
The laundry's spinning round and round,
I've made a snowy trip to town.

So now we'll settle, nest, and tuck,
To eat our soup and watch Canucks.
The birds rejoicing at their food.

Happy At Home

I've been married for for 25 years to the same dude.
Life for us is very simple and ordinary:
He watches hockey, fixes motors, and likes fishing.
I love to garden, read, and paint.
We both love God, country, family, food, and home.
I read once that the secret to a happy marriage is:
Accept, Adapt, Admire, Appreciate.
I've tried to put that into practice.
Often I've failed.
However, for the most part, it's worked.
We are still together and happy!
It helps to marry your best friend.
