I now pronounce you husband and....husband!
Today I had the honor and privilege to photograph the wedding of two dear friends, David and Conrad. David and Connie have made another appearance in my photostream before, and that was actually the day they asked me to photograph their wedding.
Amazingly, the state of Illinois got something right when they began to allow civil unions/same sex marriages in June of this year. They celebrated today, their 11th anniversary, by joining together as husband and husband in a beautiful ceremony in their home, Foxx Hollow. It was probably one of the most touching ceremonies I have ever witnessed and I was so happy to be a part of it.
I have about 1500 shots to weed through, but a quick glance lets me know that I have definitely captured all the great moments of their special day.
Congratulations, David and Connie! We're so happy for you two! Thank you for the opportunity to cover your event and I hope you love all the photographs!

Awesome, and iconic shot. My sister and her life partner got married during California's brief 'summer of love' in 2008. Too bad I wasn't into photography back then, they had to hire someone!
