More experimenting with HDR, both have their plus points, the jury is still out! Work in progress I guess.

This is one of the locations included on the two day Photography workshop I'm assisting with in April.

I Dream of Spring

I Dream of Spring

My First attempt at HDR Better Viewed on Black

Nowhere else in Wales can you find so many spectacular waterfalls in such a small area. Water is inseperable from the Welsh Landscape whether flowing in a river or babbling in a brook. Here the rivers Mellte, Hepste and Neddfechan have worn away soft rocks to create steep wooded gorges full of caves and the famous waterfalls

This is just one of the locations included on the two day Photography workshop I'm assisting with in April.

Canon EOS 50D | Canon 10-20mm |
f/22 | 1.6s | 17mm | ISO 100
HDR from 1 RAW

For this Sundays outing we visited Sgwd Henrhyd, South Wales' highest waterfall, located in the Nant Lech Valley and dropping a total 90ft (27m).

We've had a fair amount of rain but was still surprised at the lack of water in the river. However, very poor light and a fair amount of spray made it a difficult morning.
