Recovery

Recovery

Yesterday I looked into my Gallery on my phone to see that ALL my photos were gone. Some were backed up... but not all, and not enough of them. I was flying and airport hopping so it was hard to get time to sit and research what happened and If there was ANYTHING I could to get them back.

Today I recovered all the deleted photos on my phone!!! and when I say all, I mean ALL.... If you think those files are gone when you delete them on your phone..... you're wrong. Wow. It also recovered all the photos I've ever received via one of my "Social Apps." Wow again. The next step is to sort though the 8000+ photos that were recovered. [some are corrupted, see above, but not many]

I used CardRecovery.org. There might have been a free way to do it, but alas they hooked me with the "free trial" and scanned my phone, found all the photos, but I could only preview them. After the hour or so it took to scan my phone I didn't want to start over or risk losing them in some other random accident - so I forked over $40 or whatever the fuck they extorted from me for a licence.

It's amazing how priceless photos really are. Even if you regularly back-up, which I try to do, and regularly download them off your phone, which I also try to do, you get behind (like uploading my 365 pics HA -- some of which were ON my phone -- whew!).

Download your photos. Make a backup. Store your negatives properly. Scan your prints. Make memories, and make backups of those memories!!!
