My words, they pour, like children to the playground, children to the playground, you make me smile.

Another winter shot, made in the morning. But afterwards, during the day, an huge amount of snow fell.

This type of weather is rare in my country (Netherlands) and it seems as if just a 'bit of snow' (30 cm) changes the whole daily life. People cant get far, because the roads are terrible and cars get stuck in the snow. Trains, busses and cabs are scarcely or not driving.

Im glad I dont have my exams this week!! (But I still have to study though, considering I have two exams in the first couple days of January; happy new year...)

The falling leaves drift by my window

The falling leaves drift by my window

Since you went away, the days grow long. And soon I'll hear, old winter's song.
But I miss you most of all, my darling, when autumn leaves, start to fall.

Seems like the last autumn leaves are falling and winter is stepping in.
(I really have terrible cold feet, oh how I wish it was summer again!!)

Star

Star

Do you see what I see; a star, a star, dancing in the night, with a tail as big as a kite.

This picture is inspired by Laura **'s great pictures of christmas ornaments. I have been wanting to do a shot like this ever since I saw her pictures.

Let it snow

Let it snow

When the weather outside is frightful, and the fire is so delightful, and since we have no place to go...

I really loved watching the snow covered reed in the wind... The yellow/brown tones were beautiful combined with the white of the snow and frost.. It all looked so fragile!

The cover of another perfect wonder

The cover of another perfect wonder

Deep beneath the cover of another perfect wonder, where it's so white as snow.
Privately divided by a world so undecided, and there's nowhere to go..

Two days ago I mentioned that I wanted snow for the ultimate Christmas feeling.. Well, I got it! This morning I woke up and there it was.. By now, most of it has melted away, but the weather forecast shows more snow this week! That would be lovely, since I really enjoyed the walk I made this morning in the park (on the picture) nearby my house.. I walked around for about two hours and made about 50 photos..
