Alligator, La Chua Trail, Gainesville, Florida

    Alligator on the La Chua spur of the Gainesville-Hawthorne bicycle trail at Paynes Prairie State Park near Gainesville, Florida.

    This is the northern side of Paynes Prairie.
    The La Chua trail is really loaded with alligators -- hundreds of them in a small area.

      Very nice shot. Tom, I have heard a lot about LaChua but never been on it althoiugh I have been to Paynes Prairie

      Thanks, Swamper. This was my first time there. It's about 100 miles from Valdosta. I think I've been to the south part of Paynes Prairie three times.
