spanish moss' photostream  

What I wouldn't give to walk this path circa late 19th century. It was a bittersweet moment as I stood witness to a crumbling era of architecture never to be replicated. Except in the case of one or two hopeful visionaries who had the wherewithal and blueprints to rebuild what once was.

It doesn't look it but the temps were frigid on this day... I wanted to investigate that one lonely draped wire and see what it might have been hooked up to. Curious eh?

Oh this was taken somewhere near Morris Illinois. I don't know where that is either so don't feel bad.

A funny thing happened at a photoshoot today.

This is Mel, sweet pooch extraordinaire :) The goal was to get Mel in the shot with the rest of the family members.

Wait... there are other family members?

this gorgeous facade was found in a most downtrodden alley of Detroit. You simply can't stop life from bringing beauty to barren, empty spaces.

I'm archive diving lately and finding pix I shoulda been posting.. playing catch-up!
