The Palace of Holyroodhouse
In the center is the palace fountain, which is a replica of the fountain built by James V at Linlithgow Palace.
When Bonnie Prince Charlie visited Linlithgow during his attempt to take the crown, he said that the fountain was made to flow with wine in his honor. The English subsequently destroyed most of that palace a few months later as a result.
Queen Victoria had a replica of the fountain built in the Palace of Holyoodhouse forecourt.

Wonderful shot. That image takes me back several years when I also visited Holyrood. IMHO castles always look better in black and white.

This is a wonderful shot of the fountain and the palace. I've tried photographing that fountain myself, and I know how difficult it is to frame it well.
