Silver lining

A mild winter in the Upper Michigan, I can never imagine to see black sand along the shore of the Lake Superior in the middle of Feb, I still remember the scene last winter: the snow stretched to the horizon that I can not see any water. But now there are only like 30ft of snow stretched into the lake.

I arrived at the lakeshore a little bit later than expected and the light show was already drawing to the end. But luckily I managed to take home a couple of exposures. And more importantly I found some promising composition for next time, hopefully the snow/ice will remain.
