An ominous sky rolled in over Yellowstone National Park that day I shot this picture. The weather there changes really fast and I was surprised how quick this storm moved in. With gusty winds and the potential for hail I quickly got back to the truck after taking as many photos as possible. I'm going to leave this untitled for now. I can't really think of anything good at the moment. If anyone has an suggestions let me know.

To my surprise and I think many others, a large portion of Yellowstone has burnt in wildfires over the last several years. It's pretty amazing how the fires actually rejuvenate the forest.

This big boy was walking towards me through the wind right before a summer storm. There were hundreds of bison all around me in the Lamar Valley. It was an amazing experience to see them up so close in the wild. They were also in rut so they were pretty agressive and occasionally fighting.

The first of many pictures from my trip to Yellowstone National Park in 2010. This picture was take of Kepler Cascades a beautiful waterfall in the park. There is a nice overlook off the road to view these falls. However the best view is at the base of the falls after a challenging vertical decent. I wasn't able to stay long because it started to rain. Normally I might have waited it out but the frequent lightning told me it was time to go. I did manage to get a couple frames prior to leaving. If given the opportunity I will definitely head back to this spot.
