I tried this shot three times: first time I focussed on the trees and branches, then on the lake scene behind - and finally on the fence in the middle, which was the clear favourite. Please view in lightbox!

From the same walk with Matthew. I love this lake - it changes every single day but it is always, always beautiful.

Oh my goodness. New camera: Nikon D3100. Actually in love. Matthew and I went for a walk to test it out. This was the gate to a field of rather inquisitive sheep.

This is the end of my project. I've found it fascinating to see the way that the view has changed month-to-month. Hopefully I will find the time to put all of my pictures into a short film so as to see the progression more slowly.

The clocks have gone back and suddenly the view is much darker, grainier and wintery. The hot October made this change even more drastic.
