i believe it is the world's best camera. it specialises in capturing moods, colours, feelings of calm. i trust it entirely and just let it do it by itself. it loves going to spanish weddings and has promised to buy me a house one day with its photos.

Film+Medium Format Kicks ass. I have been trying and trying to get my digital photos to look like film and MF, but no chance. I need to save up and buy a Mamiya!

It's very nice! I like the still nature and the background fits with the idea of a picture close to painting, it's very rich and elegant for sure!

A lovely romantic image , Ed.
The most romantic bit for me,,,, is the bill on the table.
I like to imagine, in my quaint welsh way, that it's the L'Addition that you've just presented to the wedding client for your work, and that it was so disgustingly huge & outrageous, that the bride's father has just had a massive thrombo, and is collapsed under this table clutching his chest and all gob-frothy.
The lovely perfectly rounded Hasselblad highlight, in the delicious bokeh, is the headlight of the ambulance rushing to take him to an emergency cardiac unit, but you're already counting out great clumps of crispy euros, from his snaffled wallet, like any good pro would be.
You'll get that house in no time.
It'll be a Hasselienda.

the father of this bride had so much loot my fees were undersized out of date tesco economy peanuts for him
the good thing was this wedding let me into the private circle of madrid super rich who want photos of things that would never enter the heads of your average client.
if they want things they have to have them
if i can just get a tiny insignificant slice of their millions in the process i will be more than happy

Go for it, Eddie Boy!
That's the kinda talk I like to hear!!!
What's more,,,you've got the talent to be well worth your slice of their humungous pie.
Most of the hangers-on like so called interior designers, and fitness consultants etc, and all the rest of them that the horrendously wealthy spend (waste?) their gross riches on, are relying on grease and horseshit to peddle something that's usually utterly worthless.
You're giving them something genuinely creative, and durable, and unique, and really truly valuable.
Your photography is a god-damned cast-iron Investment!
They're getting a bargain whatever you sting them for.
You dip your bread in that gravy, my son, while it's good'n hot !!!

:))) will you believe I've got one lying about collecting dust?
Is yours the modern type? The kind that likes Beyonce and wears yellow this season and has digital drive?

awesome shot mate, i LOVE your vision. you'll definitely have that house! i hope one day i'll be able to even SEE the world in HALF the way you do, never mind document it..
again, please take me on as your apprentice, i'll ditch my ladders in an instant! my missus is a good cook, and you'd have the cleanest photographers windows in the world!

I only thought you did porno! This is great. In short, putting the people/subjects in the out of focus background in a detached manner and the table with glass of champagne? and the flowers is a nice touch. I like it

thank your for your support. i would love my work to one day have a value more than just as a photo. that the photos go up in value and can be bought and sold like stocks and shares or paintings. to get that sort of name though for limited edition prints is not easy. i have refused an image bank rights to the hasselblad photos in order to protect their value.
its all a poker game but i play aggressively and have found that i have been able to bluff people off your their hands. since i am not gambling with borrowed money or the rent money i can take risks.
i have been studying the ruthless genius that is phil ivey.

do you "do" weddings toshihiro or were you just there looking for art?
umbrellas are one of the most photogenic things i think
it is strange the coincidences that appear in photos
wedding in naron/ferrol by a coruña in galicia tomorrow. with a bit of luck there may be a bit of rain there too. it seems it always rains here. i brought the hasselblad just in case there are any red umbrellas or red poppies

the good thing about tommyoshima is he is in japan.
if he was here i think it would be very bad for business at least as regards any chance i have of accessing the very high end market
i suspect though mr tommysan is only interested by amusing himself and creating beautiful photos which allows his english darth vader relation here in madrid free reign to make the most of having gone to the dark side
