I know you're at least semi-joking Fred, but
you'll notice none of the other mug shots
have a photo credit. Newspapers -- at least
the one I worked at -- consider mugs to be
more or less beyond copyright. Like, it's
such a no-brainer that it should be fair use
to print a picture of someone's face, with or
without permission or attribution, that they
don't even think about it. Or maybe I just
worked at a shitty newspaper.
