horrible memories! Late June, 105 degrees
(fahrenheit) outside and I have to walk to
the top of this mirrored green house? you're
kidding me? I have a thermometer on my watch
that said 123 at the top. Needless to say I
can't stand the idea of the Reichstag
anymore.
FUNNY! Because my Reichstag memory also
features extreme weather. But in my case it
was NUMBING, excrutiating cold!
New year's Day, 2003, and we had to stand for
over an hour to get in. Guess what? Since you
found out the dome is not air-conditioned...
you won't be surprised to learn IT"S NOT
HEATED EITHER! BRRRRRR
I was in Berlin for the World Cup recently.
walked past here a few times but never made
it in.....I thinnk it's because a lot of
drinking went with the world cup.

You must wear all black to be inside the glass dome...alas...there is someone wearing white! Horrors!

So modern and so many nice slightly rounded angles give it a soft inviting feeling. I hope to visit it someday.

What a great looking building. Very Guggenheim-esque.
