thanks sean. i don't mean to sound overly modest but the change in the tonal quality in my drawings has been enormous with the 8b. as maureen says it spreads like butter and gives the same effect as charcoal with the ability for finer detail. i guess it's like a musician being given a top class instrument. they're bound to eulogise. i think it has allowed me to develop to a new stage. i won't be going back to harder pencils for a while. ;0) btw dinger is my new favourite word. i have exported it to spain!
