Grand Banks Schooner
The model ship in a bottle depicts the vessel at about circa 1910.
My chum, Mr R. Carter built this, among many others, while recuperating from the loss of a leg.
The model itself is built to museum standards and how many 'ships in bottles' can make that claim?
I only wish that my photography was better so that the incredible detail could be seen.
