The rise of a new Don: Scene 3 (Always stay focus)

The rise of a new Don: Scene 3 (Always stay focus)

The third scene of this session. Guys, I really love cities at night. The old Montreal is such a beautiful place with a really particular architecture (The architecture in Quebec City is probably more particular).
I wanted to show it more but even at 1:00 am there is still bunch of people in the streets of the old Montreal(allright it was Friday night but hey!)...and you know the Don must stay incognito and focus on his takeover!

I'll be postitng every day 'till friday a new scene of my session with David. As it was a movie oriented session I'll try to make it look like a movie scene.

Project 52: #16 on 52 [Gin & Cigar]

Project 52: #16 on 52 [Gin & Cigar]

Project 52: #16 on 52 [Gin & Cigar]

Week 16

For this week I wanted to do a movie related photoshoot. As mentioned on week 5, I'm a big fan of Tarantino's work and also of 30's/40's gangsters movies like Road to perdition, Payback, The Departed, or Public enemies.
So this session was highly inspired by those movies. My model for this session was David. We started to shoot at his place and then we move to the Old Montreal.

We wanted to shoot in the Old Port but after few shot a security guard came and told us that an authorization was required to shoot in the Old Port for professional shooting. Sigh... We tried to explain that we where not professional at all but I guess doing some strobist stuff with a Softbox made you look like a professionnal.
Anyway we still had great time and managed to get some sweet shots. More from this session coming soon...

Off-Topic: I guess you guys know about the news of the week. Canon released the long awaited 5D Mark III and some other gear like a new flash and transmitter. They all look great but they are sooooooo overpriced! At least IMHO. Anyone plan to get one of those babies?

Have a nice week!

Semaine 16
