The lighted 2012 U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree from the Blanco Ranger District of the White River National Forest near Meeker, Colorado; and decorated with hand-made ornaments, continued to draw visitors to the Capitol grounds, shortly after it was turned on, on Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012. Since November, the tree visited dozens of cities across the country as it made its way here on Nov.26, 2012. The 73-foot Englemann spruce traveled from the White River National Forest in Colorado.
