A Light moment with Larry Conley during rehearsal.

Besides his duties as an analyst for JP Sports SEC broadcasts, Larry has been one of ESPN's most prominent analysts since joining the network during the 1979-80 season.

In fact, he and Dick Vitale are the only two college basketball commentators to have worked for the network since its inception in 1979.

With ESPN and ESPN2, Conley's duties have included Super Tuesday SEC telecasts, Big Ten and ACC games. He also has handled NCAA College World Series broadcasts for ESPN.

Before joining ESPN on an exclusive national basis in 1988, Conley also worked for NBC Sports (1978-82) and CBS Sports (1983-87). He served as a men's basketball analyst for NBC during the 1996 Olympics.

Larry was a standout basketball player for legendary coach Adolph Rupp at Kentucky and a member of the famed "Rupp's Runts." He posted career averages of 12.6 points and 5.6 rebounds, and helped the Wildcats to the 1966 NCAA championship game as a senior captain. (Source : JP Sports)
