I'm not a birder, although I can pretty much hold my own at the bird feeder on the front lawn. So I have no idea what this is, but after about 20 minutes she settled down enough for a few frames. Good birdy.

Serendipity is the pursuit of luck. It is not so structured or formal as walking into a casino where the probability of winning and losing is proved by millions of bets per month. That stuff is just silliness. But keeping a short list of must have stuff in my head for a number of years keeps my mind piqued. Junk shops, second hand goods, yard sales, estate auctions. I look for clues to what I want and have not strayed from that vision (pretty much). The fun is actually not in finding the things but in searching for them.
