Another from the dull day at Watermead Park, Leicestershire.
This is the weir I have photographed before but from a different angle to capture the reflection of the tree with the diffuse lighting. No swans here today. The relations and water merge with the long exposure.

A dull day at Watermead Park, Leicestershire.
The forecast said sunny spells but a uniform coral grey sky disagreed with the forecast. Still the diffuse light made the reflections pop and the long exposure gave them an unusual quality.

Tilton on the Hill, Leicestershire. A sunny but cold stroll with the family.

Sense Valley, Leicestershire.
From 1982 to 1996 this section of Sence Valley formed part of a 460 acre opencast mining area. In 1996 when coal extraction had finished the soil was compacted, cultivated and a drainage system installed. 150 acres were given over to Leicestershire County Council to form the forest park and in the winter of 1998 around 98,000 trees were planted to restore the landscape that we see here today.
