Kona Challenge

as a member of the Vancouver Modern Quilt Guild, I had the opportunity to participate in the Robert Kaufman Kona Charm pack challenge. Our guild decided that you had to use all of the charm pack colours in a quilt (you didn't have to use the whole charm), you could add other fabrics, but the charm pack had to remain the focus.
My quilt in fact uses up almost the entire charm pack with only a few small scraps left over. Machine quilted in an overall zigzag using my walking foot.

That quilt is amazing for a solid challenge. All the challenge quilts I've seen so far are so amazing and yours just adds to the brilliance of using solids

This is absolutely stunning ... the use of the blocks and the layout on the front is really cool ... but in my book, the square quilting is just amazing and the quilting pattern on the back reflects how cool it really is ... well, well done!

Absolutely beautiful. I have been playing with similar patterns on the computer. Nice to see something similar actually done.
