This wasn't the shot I was doing for when I pulled my camera out, but my lighting in the area wasn't cooperating with me nor was my lens liking me at all...But this shot was a happy surprise and I really love how it turned out.

I had to shoot while Galen napped. The boy doesn't like when I try and do anything for myself. He's become really clingy and mommy centered as of late. But, that comes with being an almost 2 year old.

We're still homeschooling the almost 8 year old, she's really thriving now in her academics. This is another reason that my photography time suffers...gotta put those kiddos first and all. I've been trying to make more me time to do what I love.

I'm trying to get more confidence to try more full body shots. I've lost a lot of weight this last year (nearly 50 lbs) so you'd think I'd love jumping in front of the camera to show it off....but I still have a hard time seeing the new me. When I look in the mirror I still see size 16 Sarah and not the current size 6 Sarah. It's hard, but I'm making the effort to force myself to see ME and not the image I've created in my head.

Anyways, that's enough of that. I'm going to try and knock out a photo a week, don't hold me to that...but I will try. My family comes first and by the end of most days I just want to kick back with a glass of wine and play World of Warcraft.

I think I might like this one better.

I think it's done. Not sure yet. Is it just my screen or is it super sharp? Hmmmm
