Arrival in France following the Crossing of the English Channel
Upon arrival in France I was very surprised by the reception of the natives, and not a little bit disconcerted. Thank god the French had signposted the way back to England.
For those not familiar with the traditions between the French and English Nations: The English call the French "frogs", and in return the French call the English "roastbeef". :-)
The Germans are called "krauts" by both nations, hence the "kraut" on my head... (oh, too much thinking going on in this shot). :-))
For those who missed my departure from England, please take a look at the previous picture for the full story.

Self with Giraffe - Paris
Another holiday snap - this time from Paris. Same phenomenon as in Rome. It does not matter how casually you want to take a holiday snap. You always get the odd tourist sticking their head into the frame.

I am Augustus - Oh, please! This is ridiculous! I can't work like that!
We are off to Rome for a long weekend soon. I thought I'd get some touristy pictures in before I actually leave so that I can post stuff right away. But you know how it is. Every time you think you have found a good spot for a quick photo, some tourist is sure to pop right into the frame.

Desert Abandoned Gas Station Pump
Shot this picture during a quick walk around the neighbourhood yesterday. Good thing I carried my Red Filter in my bag so the sky came out really well.
