your country needs you!
seeing as its halloween and there is a tone costume photos on flickr right now i thought i would jump on the band wagon again. i'm quite proud of this portrait for several reasons, for one it was done in about 20 minutes because i had to take the costume back to where i had hired it from and had to leave the flat quite quick because my mum just rang to tell me that her train was getting into brighton in about 45min and i had to met her. i got the uniform on set up the tripod, camera and flash, i started doing variations on salutes, sanding to attention and this the classic lord kitchener pose (for americans who don't know who he was he is britains version uncle sam from WW1 but was real person). I only did about 3 of these with out looking at the original so its pure fluke that i pretty much got it spot on.

bingo..... well i have seen a lot of those "join the army its just like playing playstation whilst watching Black HawkDown with a whole bunch of mates" ads that they constantly play on Channel 4, but who can resist the appeal of the Old fashioned point and shoot approach.
