From my previous post I have talked about one of my favorite places to watch the birds. At this particular one there is a natural front with limbs down to were the birds will land on them before coming to get food that I have placed for them. I have many photos of different birds at this location. The winter sniffles has me down a bit but I will try to catch up ! Please look at my other photo below.

I have been spending more time at one of my favorite spots to watch birds. I use the truck as a blind. I put out a little bread, crackers, seed and give my Cardinal call and in just a few minutes they start showing up. The birds at this spot seem to always come in to the opening I am at by going from tree to tree getting closer each time. I have several photos were different birds love to get on the same branch when approaching. I will try to display some of these. The birds that I have photographed in this spot are , Northern Cardinals, Carolina Wrens, Carolina Chickadees, Brown Thrasher, Eastern Towee, Mockingbird, Blue Jay, Yellow-rumped Warbler, Downy Woodpecker,

This is one of the orange - red.

In these scans we have first a flyer advertising the sale of the second and revised edition of McCorkle's book, Rhymes from the Delta, the second book is a first edition Poems of Perpetual Memory. Both of the books are very rare and the flyer being extremely rare. I have had the books for over 20 years and I bought these at local auctions. The flyer was in a box of things my brother had stored from auctions and I bought that from him.
