I loved wearing my babies , slung on my hip, carried around so safe
and snug. I loved how their little hands would grip you, caress you.
All felt safe, and secure and loving.
I loved how they would fall asleep snuggled into you, head buried in
the crook of your neck, or on you chest. their little warm breaths
reminding you that you made this, and all is good with the world.

this mama and babe made me all broody. I just gave my sling to a new mama, the bug is too heavy now. I actually miss these days sometimes..........

Bea was never a sling baby, but I did my share of carrying - and still do. Definitely loved the feeling. My God but you have been QUITE broody lately :-) Maybe you need a new kitten, ahem.

Awww, this is a wonderful capture. I got a sling when Rose was 3 months old and we used it a lot. Just got a new one for the new baby. :)

We carried to but in a backpack, oh the little one loved it there! She still has to be in on the action only much to heavy for the backpack. this is a really sweet and sentimental photo.

This is giving me the broody feeling too. I never did the sling, I did Snugli and later Baby Bjorn because they were handed-down to me, but this makes me wish I had done the sling.
