Mermaids Pool
The tour guide said
"Legend tells the tale of a pool, deep in the heart of England miles away from the sea inhabited by a mermaid, single men are not to approach the pool as the mermaid will lure them into the depths. Some say you can still hear the cries of men who have met there end at the mermaids pool......"
We listened
"But not today"
In the summer at the mermaids pool
As the grass grows all around
I think I sometimes hear her sing
For the mermaids home I've found
