      These are Hedge Sparrows by Catharina Klein (she anglicised her name from Catherina to Catherine during the early war years, which was a bit pointless seeing as her surname is Klein!

      These postcards are all that is left of Catherinas work. all her paintings (thousands of them) were stored in a warehouse in Germany and it was bombed during the war destroying all her original paintings,
