While walking back along the pier I herd the sound of caterpillar tracks on tarmac. I looked back towards the bay and saw they were launching the life boat. Apparently the life boat station is quarter of a mile inland because the local hotels wont allow it to be next to the beach. Crazy. They have to drag it through the town and launch it. So any way I ran as quick as I could and set up the camera next to it. I was just in time, after I took this photo they bombed down the causeway into the sea. It was pretty cool.

Walked up the hill behind the Grand Hotel to get a good vantage point over Llandudno. Happy with how this came out, but I think it would have even better if the sky wasn't so flat..
