Love mirrors...

Update: thank you for Explore # 15! : )

I made this mirror when I first rented my last Apartment in Greece in 2004 ( where I stayed until 2006).

" Ingredients"...as if it were a food recipe ; ):

-> 15 square mirrors with rounded edges from Ikea. They
come /came in sets of 4 for 10€.
-> the surface of an ex -Klubbo table ( 1.00 x60cm)
-> special tape for adjusting mirrors
-> a permanent silver marker
-> inspiration!..for writing whichever thoughts "speak " to
you
-> two screws in the back, to hold a thick wire from the
one to the other. Makes hanging easier...

I had also a guest writer, you can understand it by the different handwriting. It never became quite clear to me what is meant, eventhough there are moments when it's more clear. It doesn't exactly express my own views but for now it's still left there...

Thank you all very very much! : )
I just want to say here, that this picture, is hardly edited, with the only exception of adding some light ( exposure ) and contrast to it using Lightroom....I feel a little uncomfortable accepting comments about my technical abilities, coz for now I consider them to be limited... but again:
    Thank you all SO much!

It was a great sunny moment this Sunday morning, noticed how nice the tulips reflected on the mirror and took picture focusing on it.

Mostly happy that thoughts on Love are shared through this.
A nice day to all......: )

    Hi : ) ! Thank you!!
...your flexible idea is very nice, too!
We do something similar with the blackboards on the kitchen cupboards...there, we write current and spontaneous things.
The Love thoughts though are ones I like to see, read and be reminded of daily, as they are very important. So, it's ok that they are permanent.
They can still be erased and rewritten when a change is to be made : )

Sets of 4, but 15 mirrors?

What, did you break one? :)

  15. Iro {Ivy style33} 40 months ago | reply

...eventhough I doubt the need of this to be asked, here is the answer:

Well,it is so that these mirrors were sold in a set of four. As 3 columns of 5 of them ( or 5 raws of 3 of them ) are needed to cover the 1,00 x 0,60cm surface where they are adjusted, one is left and can be used in anyway one wishes. On the other hand, it's not a bad idea to have one as a back up in case it is needed.
