I find that, mixing stuff helps achieve this.....Ikea, vintage, DIY, Habitat, things from trips, incredibly cheap things/finds but charmimg( like the wooden bowl for €3,99! ) placed in surprising places...things I use daily, like the accessories...

Isis, eventhough it still simply "stands " there after 2 days, it feels right and as apart of the room to me, too. So, no more thoughts and hesitations. It "ll be adjusted with confidence : )
