It's not adjusted to the wall, just rests on the table, some books on top of it and some...yarn...if it is adjusted, it will be slightly on a lower level.

+ its length makes the space look
bigger,
as it's well known that horizontal lines
expand a space....
+ valuable surface is provided, both for
practical and decorational purposes...

- at night, when the light is on,
shadows under the shelf are created,
not allowing the light to spread freely
in the area as it did before...it's the
only negative point, but light is very
important for a space and it should be
the best possible through out all 24
hoursof the day & night.

For now, I rest my case...the solution shall come...
