Irish Castles 100_0017

    Blarney Castle. In 1446 the third castle on this site was built by Dermot McCarthy, King of Munster of which the keep above remains standing. The lower walls are fifteen feet thick.

      Nice castle series. Have you seen Trim castle - it's quite spectacular.
